My Story
Originally from Saint John, NB, I moved to Halifax in the early 90's to experience city life on my own. After six years, I decided to 'go big or go home' and made the move to beautiful Vancouver, BC. I stayed in Vancouver for the next 20 years, where I continued to work in fashion retail management.
Although I enjoyed my time in Vancouver and made amazing life-long friends, my overwhelming anxiety screamed for a quieter lifestyle. So, with the growing realization that I have fewer days ahead than behind, and that I’d been away from what little family I have left for most of my adult life, it was time to return home to the Maritimes. So in 2018 I moved to back to Nova Scotia to build myself a new life and I've never been happier!
Painfully aware of how stress can impact a person’s well-being, I am honoured and privileged to create a business where I can allow others to take some much-needed time to rest and reset.

Welcome to The Creation Lounge Retreat... Located in Hammonds Plains, NS, just 20 minutes from Halifax. You’ll feel like you’re worlds away in this tranquil setting, with pond views from almost every room of this open concept character home, decorated with a mid-century modern minimalist decor.
During your stay, you’ll be able to relax in the 7-person hot tub with water views, take an evening paint pouring class downstairs at The Creation Lounge workshop, or make s’mores at the fire pit! Most importantly, you’ll have no one to take care of but each other.

You're sure to fall in love with this addictive and therapeutic art form where you'll learn how to create your very own masterpieces you'll be proud yo show off!
